The last few days has seen Salon Privé 2012 at Syon Park in London with Lobster, Champagne, Supercars, Classic cars and a great atmosphere. As we’ve said before, Salon Prive is a Garden Party with endless Champagne and Lobster and manicured lawns that just happen to be littered with the finest automotive machinery on the planet. There seems to be a new version of the infamous Bugatti Veyron at every motor show, but even we were taken with the Bleu Centenaire on display at the 2009 Geneva motor show. Not at all, though 987bhp already seems ample to us. Instead, the Blue Centenaire Bugatti has been built to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, and is the start of a number of celebrational activities that are planned to take place throughout 2009.
Citroen has released a series of ‘cinemagraphs' portraying the new DS5. The subtly moving images are an evolution of the traditional .gif file, and were created by automotive photographer James Lipman and design agency TIZA Creative. Designed to capture the personality and presence of the DS5, the hi-res moving images are a first in the Automotive PR industry - they have been used on various blogs and photography sites for some time now.
